# Unsupported Countries

> Countries and regions we cannot onboard as sellers or ship payouts to.

## Overview

We work with businesses from almost anywhere in the world, but there's a short list of countries and regions we can't onboard.

This isn't an arbitrary choice — it comes down to international sanctions regimes, anti-money laundering rules, and restrictions imposed by our banking and payment partners. If a country appears below, we're unable to accept it as a seller's country of operation, and in some cases we'll also block orders placed by buyers located there.

## Countries we don't support

* Afghanistan
* Antarctica
* Belarus\*
* Myanmar (Burma)
* Central African Republic
* Cuba
* Crimea (Ukraine)\*
* Democratic Republic of the Congo
* Donetsk (Ukraine)\*
* Haiti
* Iran
* Iraq
* Kherson (Ukraine)\*
* Libya
* Luhansk (Ukraine)\*
* Mali
* Netherlands Antilles
* Nicaragua
* North Korea
* Russia\*
* Somalia
* South Sudan
* Sudan
* Syria
* Venezuela
* Yemen
* Zaporizhzhia (Ukraine)\*
* Zimbabwe

<Note>
  \* Russia, Belarus, and the occupied Ukrainian regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia are restricted specifically because of ongoing sanctions tied to the war in Ukraine.
</Note>

## A few things to keep in mind

* This list isn't permanent — sanctions and partner policies change, so a country's status can shift over time.
* Even for countries not on this list, our team may still ask for extra documentation before approving an account or releasing a payout, depending on the risk profile of the specific case.
* Being headquartered or incorporated in a supported country doesn't automatically clear an applicant — beneficial owners, directors, and the underlying business activity are checked too.

If you're unsure whether a specific case is affected, check with the onboarding or compliance team before proceeding.
